Summer is here, and with it comes the need to create comfortable, cool zones around the house. Today, the Clipper Voiles team takes you to a large-scale project in Frontignan, where we installed two custom shade sails on a single property.
The goal? To effectively shelter the terrace while creating a refreshing oasis right by the swimming pool.
For the pool area, we chose a large-scale sail made of HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene). This technical fabric acts as a real thermal shield:
Maximum Protection: It blocks up to 97% of UV rays.
Micro-perforated: It allows air to circulate, preventing the greenhouse effect and significantly lowering the temperature underneath.
Precision Tension: Securely fastened using turnbuckles and a dual-tension pulley system for a flawless fit and high wind resistance.
Over on the terrace, we opted for a different atmosphere with an acrylic sail, perfect for a sleek, sophisticated look and high-performance shade. The installation was cleanly executed using a 4-strap tension system, ensuring an incredibly smooth and even finish.
The secret to a successful installation: All posts and anchor points were carefully pre-installed by our team. The result? A final setup that was fast, efficient, and engineered to last.
