Thanks to the integration of the Sail Bearing Technology developed by Profurl, the SPINKIT will allow you to easily and safely roll up and unroll your asymmetric spinnaker.
MAIN ADVANTAGES OF THE SPINEX 4.0:
As the asymmetric spinnaker fabric is light and fragile, the anti-twist cable tends to damage it.
When unwinding, the cable turning faster than the sail, it can sometimes rewind and therefore become blocked (phenomenon of "reverse furl")
Profurl's solution, "Sail Bearing Technology", is characterized by the use of high density spheres freely rotating around the anti-twist cable and aimed at protecting the sail from the cable.
ADVANTAGE OF "SAIL BEARING TECHNOLOGY":
• Eliminate any contact between the sail and the cable
• Eliminate the phenomenon of "reverse furl" and therefore blockage of the sail
• Limit the wear of the fabric
• Make winding easier and faster by making a larger diameter
