Cross Cut Half-Batten Mainsail:
Economical type of construction for boaters looking for a good compromise between price and longevity.
We have selected the CONTENDER AP or CHALLENGE New Port for their quality/price ratio and their very good longevity over time.
The Strengths of a Cross Cut Half-Batten Mainsail:
- The price
- Horizontal slats facilitate handling during reefing and shifting.
- Leech of the sail much better held than on a classic sail.
